Hi all that follow too. hope your day is lovely also. Going to be working on more cards here. Now working on some for this weekend and then some for Brian and I to post out to folks.
Hopefully my card will arrive today. I am really annoyed with the Paper Mill. Won't order from them again. I guess I will just visit the store sometime instead. grrrrrr It has almost been 2 weeks now. I have had 3 email excuses too on why it hasn't arrived and you can telly they have no clue because none of the answers are consistent.
Also going to roast a chicken today. I think it is a good day for it too. Supposed to be getting wintery temps today and possible frost tonight. So must get out and cover the veg up.

Freezing here this morning already the wind is really cold

No babes until Monday, so hoping to pop into town this morning,
then write my Christmas cards tonight [sister's not coming] and then
over the weekend can get my chains and atc's done along with
anymore Christmas cards that I need

Ann. I also like going to the fruit farms to pick my own fruit. Today I bought some new season Apricots. We are lucky here in Australia the weather is so diverse, we get fresh fruit and vegatables all the year round, raspberries from the cooler climates.( I like them)
I bought an electric Glue gun today, that is re chargable. thought if I bought a new toy I may? get motivated to finish the Christmas cards I started last Christmas.
Pat, I bought sweet potato today, good intentions of making that bread.

Morning all.

A loooooooooooooong list of jobs to do, but I'm trying to be realistic and headed the list 'Jobs for the weekend' instead of 'Jobs for today'

One thing we can coount on here is apples - lots of them especially Bramleys (cooking apples). I bought a large bagg of them on Tuesday and have just sliced them and boiled them down - just a little cooking and they turn into apple mush with the odd slightly firmer bit now and again. They're currently cooling downstairs before I bag them up and freeze them ready for treats in the winter, but tonight - it's apple crumble!

I'm now going to clean the kitchen floor (I do know how to have fun!)

Katie is nagging me about her walk, so I'll take her out and hopefully the floor will have dried byt the time get back.... fewer muddy footprints that way!
