I may be gone part of the day today so you all will need to hold the fort for me. LOL But I will be on later this afternoon or evening. Hope you all have a safe and uneventful Halloween. Unless you are having a party or going to one, then enjoy.
Brian and I are sticking around home and keeping shut up inside tonight. LOL
I am really enjoying painting again and thinking of getting my house mouse stamps out again. They take alot of painting on their stamped images. LOL Well hope you all have a super day and big hugs to all that need them.
Elliot is off to Thorpe Park again today! LOL. I am waiting for Naomi to get up then I will take her out driving, and call in on Patp to drop off my Xmas cards, Yes I finally got them done.
Happy Halloween all, have a fun day, we have been invited to a party tonight, but not sure whether we will go yet!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Hope that all who celebrate Halloween have great fun...unfortunately we don't celebrate it here in Oz. It's now Friday evening here in Oz. Today the temperature here was around 36...hotter then the fires of hell!!! Hot & windy...thankfully it's cooled off considerably now but looks like we could have a nasty thunderstorm. Enjoy your day girls NettieP

hello there, folks.
Wouldn't mind looking at Taggart - one of my favourite programmes - but don't like Trick or Treat. I refuse to go to the door and my other half deals with it. It just makes me mad that children are encouraged to think that they can blackmail sweets out of folk (some of whom can't afford to feed themselves or heat their homes)and that if the folk don't give them what they want it's OK to throw eggs at the walls and windows or stamp all over the front gardens or push disgusting things through the letter box or shout and scream .
Rant over.
Sunny but VERY cold. No washing will dry today, that's for sure, but I have loads to do indoors so it doesn't matter.

I had a phone call from the boss of the computer shop today. They are building me a new tower with lots of memory, new everything and only charging me £295 ...... basically he took off the amount I'd spent on repairs on the other one over the past three weeks from the cost of a high spec new one - so it sometimes pays to 'play your face' as my father used to call it. to the three year old technician who tried to pull a fast one and who, according to the boss, I left feeling as if he'd been told off. GOOD!
Marc - I know what you mean about 'penny for the guy' - it's an English tradition. We have our own traditions, we don't need to import them from the US. I'm hoping that the youngsters who come carol singing this year will actually sing a carol, instead of managing two lines of 'We wish you a merry Christmas' and then knocking on the door! Bah, humbug!
I turn back into a pumpkin in half an hour, so I'm off to bed - lots to do tomorrow. Have a good night's sleep everyone. Love, Ann
