By sending the cards to PatK she then sells them on so that these little ones can get the vetrinary treatments and food and some of the love they need. Thanks Pat and thanks all of you for contributing cards and Louise too for all the materials she has contributed too!!!

I would like others that have charities that they contribute their cards to to put up posts here if possible too. This way we know where to send some cards and help the charities a little bit more.

Last year across some of the groups that I was in, we made Christmas cards for Trailblazers…...which Tony attends
This week when I dropped him off Jill asked if I had any for them, as one of the ladies who had bought some last year was looking for more as she had had some lovely feedback from the people she had sent them to.

The thing being as you all know this year for me has been rather hectic so I left most of the groups that I was in and just stayed with the best, lol
So hence no cards,

I know that your all busy and have your own cards to do, but if you have just 1 or 2 that you could spare they would be most appreciated

A little about Trailblazers
Trailblazers is associated to Mencap and run for 16-25 yr old young adults with Multiple disabilities.
Our local club is on a Friday night for a couple of hours.

For some parents this is the only break that they get, apart from subs ALL the activities are free being paid for by the group [through fundraising ]

They take them out and about to do the things a lot of us take for granted, watch rugby, pictures, bowling
A couple of weeks ago they took them on a barge ride [and they all got to drive the barge]
Next weekend they are taking some up to the lakes to an outdoor pursuit centre

Sheilagh - I have quite a few cards left over from last year - They're not wonderful but I'll parcel some of them up and hopefully they'll make a few pounds for the charity.
