To post a hyperlink this is how I go about doing it on the other forum I belong to using the html code again.
[ url= "put your http address for the link here"]your link[ color=orange ]your link[ /color ] [ /url ]
This should look like this

A tip from my friend in Colorado says if you want to learn how someone did their post, then quote it and examine it when it is in your quote reply window. That way you can see the html code that is being used.
